Rio 2016: Day 1 for Laser & RSX

Photos: Sailing Energy / World Sailing  & Matias Capizzano
Excellent wind conditions today, shifty but the RSX were planning good. Lets what the N17 will get, windguru forecast here.
For the day , glad to see an ‘Catsailor’ sailor like Julio Alsogaray doing so good in Laser… !  Still much to go but all local sailing community was cheering for him, also their past mates now in the F18 fleet. Julito is a a great guy plus a highly committed experienced Laser sailor who also likes to race cats with us when calendar allows, he owns an Infusion MKII and will participate in F18 Worlds in October.

The TV/web stream combo is outstanding  (at least here in Arg) in contrast with the Americas Cup lame distribution, we had a dedicated channel for the sailing footage plus the 3D track.

Nacra 17 starts on Wednesday. Schedule and Info links in previous Olympic label posts.
