2025 A-Cat Europeans at Riccione, Italy.

Day 2 at Riccione, yesterday there was no activity on light winds and specially some coastal breakers waves. Tday 7-8 knots reported by Gordon with waves.

Three races for each fleet. Kuba Suroviec all three bullets within the Foilers, and same for Gustavo Doreste on the Classics. Both reigning World Champs.

Tracking gps was working, Mischa’s was not showing though. On race two I saw Lamberto Cesari leading Kuba till the first gybe of the last downwind leg. Good to see new faces on the foilers challenging for the lead. A DNS though left him out of the top spots after 3 races.

Manolo Calavia with a progressive 4,3,2 for the day sits in second overall, and Mischa Heemskerk follows with overall score and 6pts behind the leader.

Shout to the Spanish Armada, not only with Gustavo Doreste dominating the Classics, but Abdon Ibañez and Toni Ballester in thee top 5 along countrymen Calavia.

Those winter trips Kuba Suroviec to Spain are paying dividends to add Spanish sailors at the top.

On the Classics Scott Anderson , Chris Bachelor & Jacek Noetzel complete the top four.
