F18 ARG. BA Week / South Americans 2015

I went out with my friend Esteban Daneri’s rib on Sat and got some shots pictured above on windy/cloudy conds. Some good really ones from Marcela Zapiola at CSN FB. — 18knots on Saturday and 13-17knots today, standard chop and lots of action for the 2015 Buenos Aires Week organized by the Yacht Club Argentino, who will host 2016 Worlds in this same venue / course in front of Buenos Aires downtown / port. For the South Americans 2015 current Arg Champs and Vice North Americans , Cruz Gonzalez Smith & Mariano Heuser lead after 8 races, they also lead in SBA rankings,  which started past weekend.

Esteban Blando & Nico Quagliotti climbed to 2nd overall with a 1,2,2,2 for the today Sat. Youth guns Pablo Volker & Juan Martín Benitez gave away some pts in the last two races for a 3rd overall in the South Americans. Racing continues tomorrow for the last day of the event.

The World in 2016 will be held October 28 – Nov 4 , and those wanting to train will be able to race this same regatta, BA Week 2016, two weeks previous the Worlds.
