The Great Texas beach cat race is back in 2010 for its 8th edition from June 16 to 19!
Come and join the Great Texas fleet for a 300-mile run from South Padre Island near the Texas/Mexico border to the Galveston bay.
You’ll enjoy great camaraderie and intense competition under the sun in the warm seas of the Gulf of Mexico.
The race covers 4 legs – up to 90 miles a day – traditionally a great downwind spinnaker run!
2009 saw 4 competitors finishing the race within 30 seconds of each other!

Too bad that it is the same week as the biggest catrace in the world, the Round Texel sailing week

We choose a date compatible with our local calendar, but did not look for the Euro calendar. Maybe next year… We hope to have you at GT300!
