New 2023 Scheurer G6 Foiling Version vid

If there is a proven A-Cat hull/platform is the Scheurer G6. Landy won the Europeans and Vice Hurricane FL Worlds with one. About the best floating hull ever along the Nikita. I sailed it 2014 Euros as an A-Cat rookie and it was a joy to sail too.

Recently the G6 was relaunched for the Classics and now Scheurer yard has decided to equipped the G6 platform with their latest foil devels.

“The new G6 foiling is a combination of the best platforms Scheurer has developed.

The classic G6 hull has been used, which has less volume in the bow and therefore fits aerodynamically perfectly to today’s needs.

The beam and daggerboard positions have been slightly adjusted and the bow and stern spoilers modified.

The rudder box is completely new and is equipped with the winglet rake mechanism.

In keeping the number of sheets on the deck to a minimum, the mast rotation and daggerboard adjustment have been installed on the outside. This allows an easier handling from the trapeze.
