TF35 Trophy: Nyon Regatta by Loris von Siebenthal

All images by Loris von Siebenthal / TF35 Trophy. Click pics for slideshow. TF35 Trophy first event was for Alinghi, this weekend RealTeam won the Nyon Regatta two points ahead of the Americas Cup winner team.

The TF35s are the most advanced racing Foiling machines out there, with electronic flight height sensor and thoroughly optimized setup for lighter winds. T Foils look massive.
We need more videos of the regattas, those 1 min wrap-ups … Just put 5mins of raw footage as the GC32 used to hand out. Most seen video we’ve done, +40k views, is 10 mins of raw footage of the GC32 racing at Garda.

Flashy cuts wit 1 second runs are ok for a promo. But to appreciate the TF35s or any other boat you need to publish at least 10 seconds uncut rides. More being these beauties above shot by Loris von Siebenthal.

Agree entirely, long unedited coverage is what the audience wants – there is a controller bar to fast forward through parts unwanted…….
Do it, in this era of non attendance and restricted travel technology is the next best thing, but not when so heavily edited or curated like an instagram or twitter post.

Totally agree as well. I have been thinking the same thing since they started racing. As with any cat, foiling or not foiling, sailing around you can make a cat fast, but when it comes to windward leeward courses, that is where it would be great to see the sailing angles, speed, height, stability, boat handling etc…. Hoping if some video comes out it can be reposted. I need to know if I should order one of these or not?,,, Well I have to win the lottery first, but then I would need to know…. 🙂
