A-Cat New Rudder Rake system by Scheurer
New rudder rake system sent by our friends at Scheurer yard. A Moth like system simplifying the structure with moving parts and weight at gudgeon/transom level, adding a refined cable connection scheme from the extension tiller towards rudder blade tip and the winglet base.
Key will be reliability and the quality of the Swiss yard its for sure a reassurance on this development.

As simple as riding a bike
Our new rudder adjustment system is a simplification in many aspects.
The winglet adjustment system is easy to operate from the trapeze without much effort.
The possibility for continuous adjustment of the winglet allows easy take-off and controlled landing (upwind and downwind).
The rudders can still be raised vertically as a conventional rudder system.
With its low weight, simplicity and autonomy it can be used on many A-Cat platforms.

Looks very nice! Did you just pick available “bicycle gear shift spare parts” and did you some special improvements to make the system robust against salt water? Or is that built out of marine parts? BR, Jan
