A-Class Australian Nats 2016: Brewin leads after 6 races

No pics available – After 2 days of no racing at Lake Macquire due to strong winds and storms, the Australian fleet could today complete three more races in high breeze. Steve Brewin (Exp/Brewin) continues to control the event and leads by ten points. Carnage reported by Stephen Brayshaw (DNA/Brewin) & Darrren Bundock (Exp/Brewin) below. Nathan Outteridge (Exp/Landy) scored a bullet but had a dnf on the first and a dnf for the final race of the day. Good to see though how Nathan can score a bullet in his local super competitive fleet with so little time back on the As

Brayshaw: “Massive day on the water with huge winds. Boats and people were blowing up everywhere. Very happy to survive every race and banked so solid results to start the come back. 3,7,3 and now 6th overall. “

Bundock: ” New experience today getting run over by my own boat after swinging around the front foiling out to the start of the first race. Daggerboard got me just above the ankle. Whole world of pain as the swelling kicks in.”
