F18 Worlds 2013 @Grosseto : Day 3

Qualy is over and tomorrow they’ll start racing Gold & Silver fleet. Where all the top sailors will gather together and single bullets will be scored. Still tight racing at the top, with 5 points between the top 5. This going to be a great final stage, the French are and filling the top 3 spots.  Still much to come, conditions are being great, although today they need to stop racing as the Organization needed to split fleets.

Early Report by Jasper van Staveren from Grosseto:
“The first race was started around 12:30. Conditions were light, maybe about 6 knots of breeze. During the race the wind was building (as expected). Round 14:00 during the second race the breeze filling in up to 16-18 knots. Waves at the spreader made it really spectacular. Many nosedives, especially at the end of both fleets).”
