F18 Arg. San Isidro Labrador 2013 for Gonzalez Smith-Heuser

4 long days of racing in two weekends. This past Sat/Sun 4-5knots and ‘taxi’ out-in to the Course from the Club. Yesterday we wait for two hours with floating along some ribs anchored in a great sunny day having a chat, we were missing beer and some chips when wind came in for a final race.

Event won by a good margin in tricky clam conditions by F18 veterans Cruz Gonzalez Smith & Mariano Heuser. Cruz is going to attend his 6th Worlds in July at Grossetto since his first trip to Spain in 2008. Great second place for Uruguay skipper Christopher Schewe and Wildcat owner Alberto Vieira. Third for Lucas and Moira Gonzalez Smith (pic left) on good test for their preparation to start the Olympic Campaign with the N17.

Third Arg Olympic team, Irina Piñeyrua & Franco Greggi were 5th. (pic above)
Best team were debuting ‘rookies’ Hernan Salerno- Gustavo Rizzi, on the super heave category but managing to score a bullet and a really good performance in light winds.

We are heavy too, but I didn´t had a good event, nevertheless spent some good time racing for the first time with my friend Javi Poclava on his 38th birthday (pic left).

In next event we will have Carranza-Blando racing after their European N17 tour.
