New A-Class May Fly

This is the new A-Class designed by Fischer and commercialized by the polish Exploder cat builder. The “May Fly” is a good name surely taken on performance discussions…
It looks quite sharp with those extreme curved boards. We already seen Martin flying his prototype foils on his own old A, but this is the production one with the new designed hulls.
The MayFly will participate in next A Worlds, and Fischer will be riding one.
Lets wait for some (maybe) flying images to come.

    Hoho
There is only one and only 'mayfly'
Thats the iconic philip hansford design from the 80's
The one that together with 'icarus' are the true frontrunners of hydrofoils sailing.
So please change your name guys!
Martin you should know your history !
    Furthermore it lookslike cool boat…

Hey, thanks for the info, but I didn´t name the boat!

Sadly no many places (or mags?) like 'Surfer'to check catsailing history and I started sailing in 2002, if you can get some old stories sent I'll publish them for sure.

At least we are having a good log now! if blogger still up in years to come…

    Hi PJ and Martin
I'm waiting to see the new boat in Denmark. It looks nice and I hope it will be fast.
About the name PJ is right. I've seen the "original" mayfly at the Weimouth speed record week, many and many years ago . . .
