F18: Cirrus sign M….

Not officially confirmed yet, but as some readers remarked it seems that Mischa Heemskerk has left the Hobie ship and now will be racing for BCM , (Boulogne bros) on their Cirrus ‘R’ with SI sails.

    is there any team left that is supported direct from Hobie? as far as i heard Hobie does not run a pro team anymore

    probably no pro teams directly from the factory..heard that macca was going to sail wildcat though

    I think this has huge potential for F18. To get a top team on another competitive design will be great for competition within the class and also between manufacturers. For sailors in all designs, this can only be good news!

    Maybe macca spent the better part of 2010 repairing a boat that was falling apart from the day it arrived.
