F18 Italian Nats 2023 Final Results

Circolo Vela Sferracavallo, Palerno , Scicily. Two more races held yesterday for Mateo Fiorini & Lorenzo Casamenti (Scorpion / 1D) secured the Title with two more bullets. Solid performance by the young team who continue to improve. They had some excellent races at Travemunde Worlds this year. They will be looking forward for Costa Brava 2024.

Second place overall for Alessandro Siver & Maurizio Stella (with a trusty & fast Goodall C2), and third overall for Mateo Ferraglia & Lamberto Cesari (Edge / Nxt Gen) showing their F18 experience as without much training if any were contending for the title.

Happy faces for the local Italian fleet racing at Circolo Vela Sferracavallo, Lambi told me they were gathering a local spot fleet, this regatta might attract more local area sailors to the F18.

The Italian F18 Class media effort providing plenty more material than the past F18 2023 Worlds, something that cannot happen again in the F18 biggest regatta.. No pics available in 2023 is like nothing happened and you get 0 promotion without images.
Plenty went on though at this Italian F18 Nats and we were lucky to have Marta Rovatti taking such excellent shots.
