A-Cat Worlds 2023, Toulon. Day 2
Day 1 saw no racing for the foilers, thus today they had priority.
The flying fleet managed to complete 3 races. Mischa Heemskerk (DNA F1 / Mischa DS) dominated the talented filled top pack and prevailed over young guns like Kuba Suroviec and Ravi Parent (current Title holder).
Second overall for Kuba and third for another old guy who keeps showing how its done. Darren Bundock scored consistent 3rds and place in same position overall.
Winds 12-13 knots to 9-7knots foiling conditions as reported by Gordon Upton.
In the Classics (floating) fleet, Scott Anderson (D3/North/FF) now leads, with Gustavo Doreste and Marco Radman (Scheurer/Oxxo) behind. Mathias Dietz still there for the podium after some great tactical racing as told by Gordon too.
Pity the As don’t have tracking,.. we know they have the resources so its just a matter of calling some provider and deliver the real hook up for us at home to follow the action.
