Eurocat @YC Carnac 2023: Final Results

Eurocat Yacht Club Carnac 2023 Edition

One of the Classic European catamaran racing regattas, the annual Eurocat organized by Yacht Club Carnac took place this past weekend. Two days of course racing and the famous Raid held on Saturday.

I Travelled in 2014 and its an event not to be missed. That year we had the FP being launched, time has passed and the dedicated racing foilers have been slowly vanishing from the scene.
Still for long distance events like this or the Texel, going for the Blue Ribbon should get those platform owners amped once more to put their weapons back on the water.

In the F16 we have now a good example of our convertible proposition, the Be Foil can race floating mode to podium first place and also can be fitted with foils, T ones in their case.

At this 2023 Eurocat Edition Course Racing had two days of activity. In the C1 Class (F18, F20 etc) Emeric and Felix Dary won the overall (Goodall Akurra), C3 (F16s) for Emmanuel Le Chapelier & Eric Le Bouedec (Be Foil F16 convertible / 1D).

Long distance Raid was held on Sunday and the blue ribbon for an ETF 26 crewed by Matthieu Salomon & Gurvan Bontemps, second elapsed Yvan Bourgnon & Jean Boulogne (Nacra F20 C boards)
