Nacra 15 Worlds 2022 Final Results

Good to see a numerous Nacra 15 youth flleet, 60 boats racing at Garda for the 2022 Worlds Championship its a measure the health of the youth fleet world wide, with many European kids following the Catsailing tradition from their elders, like Prous, Mourniac and many others.

After 16 races, Clement Martineau & Lou Mourniac were crowned yesterday as the 2022 Nacra 15 World Champs ahead of Titouan Petard-Elise Leconte and Thomas Proust-Eloise Clabon completing a full French podium. Clement & Lou establishing a 18pts gap with 9 top 3 scores to win the event.

The Nacra 15 looks like an excellent performance platform for the kids to follow path towards F18s and Nacra 17s. Local coach told me its a tricky cat to sail in the breeze so it adds the need to achieve more control for the young riders, who will accumulate the handling and racing hours for the major leagues.

Here in Arg we are pretty mad on not seeing the local Federation supporting the efforts of former World and Youth Olympic Champs Cittadini & Romairone, they are not getting any support to move on the Nacra 17 fleet and they are not supporting any new Nacra 15 crews to follow their path.
