F18 Europeans 2022, Day 4: Burvill-Puttman dominate

Results just in. Fourth Day of the 2022 F18 Europeans saw more wind than previous days, 18-20knots and the Australians Brett Burvill & Max Puttman put literally pedal to the metal racing their own built Windrush Edge / Nxt Gen Sails to dominate the Gold fleet at Garda scoring 1,1,1 & 2nd.

Impressive run to climb to first overall, one day remaining.
Ravi Parent & Severin Gramm (Nacra Evo) had a good day staying top 5 results to tie in points with the Aussies but the 5 bullets of Brett & Max are an asset which can decide the title.

Patrik Demesmaker & Gilles Tas (Goodall Akurra) also with an excellent day scoring 2,6,2 & 1.

Norregaard-Jarvinen did not went to the water today, and Krevisky-Benitez placed a 4th and 3 DNF on a mast down due to a loose shackle….

Booth-Booth and Gonzalez Smith-Heuser were not able to keep top 5 results and podium chances are gone surely.

The top 3 crews way ahead of the rest now, and anything can happen tomorrow. Excellent and super competitive Europeans as predicted, can’t be better than this.
