F18 Europeans 2022 to be held at Circolo Vela Arco

Classic venue at Garda for this major F18 event , organized by the Circolo Vela Arco and happy to be informed that wont have entry numbers restrictions. Word was Arco couldn’t held more than 100 F18s on the beachpark and thus Worlds were held elsewhere. If no limit on boat fleets numbers, I don’t get why 2022 Worlds weren’t organized there this year, hopefully in 2024? 2023 World to be held in Germany.

For the F18 Euros, hopefully will be a fest like the 2019 ones at Costa Brava. Garda and the Spanish location have become Classic spots by now for the F18, along Punta Ala, where the Class should visit once more.
In terms of competition, we don’t have big names confirmed, but the Argie Armada ( will be there on another podium mission. about 6 crews wanting to go, 3 with spare boats in Europe)

The Sachs might attend, Booth? Patrik Demesmaeker? No doubt, the Baders Nacra Team, the Greeks are busy with coaching and N17 campaign, from AUS lets see if Grandpa Colby is allowed to leave the country… C’mon mate, grab a 777 and land it at Malpensa! Bring Bundy with you.
Update: Seems top F18 sailor and Windrush Edge builde, Brett Burvill is planning to attend. Forgot about him, but then again the Aussies have been locked for two years, Max Puttman managed though to attend alone to Gaeta, and surely Brett might reach to to Garda as well.
