F18 Australia: NSW State Titles 2021

Not much pics available, this above from Bundy’s fb – The 2021 New South Wales states titles finished after 3 days of racing held at the Speer Point Amateur Sailing Club.

Ten races in 3 days of racing, Darren Bundock & Jake Liddell (Scorpion / 1D) won over Steve Brewin & Adam Beatie (Scorpion / Brewin Sails) and Daniel & Nathan van Kerckhof (C2 / Goodall Sails). 4th Overall for Pete Skewe & B Skewes sailing a Windrush Edge / 1D sails.

Winners dominated the regatta with eight bullets out of ten races. Nice to see Bundock continue racing F18 after winning the Worlds back in 2019 with Connor Nicholas. Brewin seems to be liking the new F18 platforms too, hopefully we can have him in coming Worlds (whenever that one will be) along the van Kerckhof who will surely get the new Goodall Akurra soon.

2022 Worlds is scheduled to be organized by the Australian Assoc in Perth, the local fleet keeps growing thanks to the work of their members and specially on their providers like Goodall and Windrush.

2021 Worlds in Italy hopefully in July, Bundock cannot attend to defend his 2019 title , he is coaching for the Nacra 17 Aus Olympic team.
