New 2020 Formula 18 by Goodall Design

Goodall Design tagged us today in their Instagram account, announcing a new F18 design by the renown Australian builder.

Happy to see the drive the Scorpion project has initiated back in 2015 plus the Epoxy & Convertible rules we proposed (later approved) along Mischa’s DS sail implementation. With these actions the F18 continues to appeal newcomers and keeps allure some truly great but outdated Classes, are unable to maintain alive. Nacra launched two F18s since facts above and now Goodall will build their updated C3 one.

Like the previous good times of the F18 Class, innovation and new F18s brings new life and generates a strong momentum forward. Nobody launches a new boat in a Class without future, and that is what Nacra and now Goodall Design are both doing, even in this strange & awkward 2020.

Excellent news for the F18 sailors World wide and congrats to the Goodalls to keep investing the Formula 18 Class.

On the new “C3” not much info released. In fact they are proposing a name game for anyone to send their preferred name for the new F18.
