2nd Annual Caribbean Multihull Challenge: Free Dockage @Yacht Club Port de Plaisance

The organizers of the 2nd Annual Caribbean Multihull Challenge are pleased to announce that the Yacht Club Port De Plaisance has renewed their Level 1 (Gold) sponsorship of the CMC and will play a major role in the 2020 Challenge beginning 14 February 2020.

As a result of the partnership, The Yacht Club at Port de Plaisance is offering free dockage for the three racing days of the CMC in the South Basin of the marina. The Sint Maarten Yacht Club office will assign these free spaces on a first-come basis to the first 20 fully paid entries. Other days or later entries will be charged at a substantially reduced rate. For CMC registered yachts wishing to stay at the marina for an extended period of time, a specially reduced contract rate is available at $1.90 per ft. for multihull yachts 50’ and under; and $2.53 per ft. for multihulls 51 feet and over. (Reduced rate dockage is on a space available basis, so competitors wishing to take advantage of this offer are urged to act quickly.)

In addition, free use of the on-premises Country Club & Spa will be included for all CMC multihulls during the period of time that they are on the marina dock. On Friday evening, there will be a 6:30 pm prize-giving and after-race party on the south basin terrace co-hosted by repeating Gold Sponsor Mount Gay Rum to which all competitors, friends, and family are invited.
