F18 Worlds 2019 @Costa Brava: Schedule & ongoing preparations

Photos by Arg Fleet & F18 International Class Assoc: Australian Edge fleet, Bundy & Connor, Arg sailors asembling a chartered C2. President with event banner and our Gral Sec, Ad Noordzij preparing to sail out. Good to have Ad, who is an avid F18 racer as a Gral Sec, aside any difference of opinions it was one of our demands to the WC to revamp the Class and have a good mix of long time management experience with up to date sailing hours. He sails also with his son Maarten. Many father & son crews like the Van Dams and the Booths for instance.

+130 boats registered with a massive fleet from Australia. The Class in good health even with the DS sails transition, excellent number of F18s getting ready to race next week, check schedule below.

On the venue, we need to establish Ballena Alegre as a venue to return I would say every year. Not travelling myself but feedback from last year and the new guys attending is clear, Costa Brava is a perfect place to held F18 major events.

We will be updating this event Nr 1 priority coming days. Follow more updates at the F18 Class Assoc official fb: facebook.com/F18International/
