Day Report: Another tough racing day at Sarasota Bay. Watch Mitch’s interview above made by Bovyn and how he describes the conditions.
Mitch & Ruben got another bullet on the first race of the Day, followed by Gonzalez Smith-Heuser.
But in the second one and after some failed starts and under Black Flag both teams got caught on a bad spot to finish +25 each. A pity as luck is playing a part in this Regatta.

As always there are teams who can manage the mess and Danny Paschalidis & Kostas Trigonis showed their focus to win scoring a 5th and bullet in the second and last race of the day.
Nothing defined yet, but they are marking the path and benchmark for the rest of the teams.

Rest of teams had ups and downs too like the Booths and Argies, Burvill & Puttman were 6th and later 17th, same for van Dams with a 7th & a 23rd.
Top ten remained constant with Clark & Goodall entering after a good second place behind the leaders.

Mischa & Stephan Dekker with another bad day plus a BFD on race they were 3rd. Title chances are gone this time around.

Locals Easton & Burd consolidating a 3rd overall (3 & 9 for the day) but with Booth, Van Dam, Boulogne and Reiss not much behind.

Melvin & van West defending their top ten position with a 11 & 4.

A discard is already in place, next will enter after Race 12 if completed. 6 Races now call for an official & valid World Title Regatta.

On other news, 2019 Worlds venue has been confirmed to be Costa Brava , Ballena Alegre, where the 2018 Euros took place. Many said it was one of the best events/venues they’d ever attended.
