Nacra 15s @Dutch Youth Regatta 2018: Cittadini & Romairone 1st

Photos: Dutch Youth Regatta – Watching Lange & Carranza grabbing the Gold at Rio was awesome for many of us, but I can tell you we are as happy to see the new generations starting so young racing cats for  Argentina abroad.

Already an excellent Worlds for Dante Cittadini & Teresa Romairone (4th overall) past week and now they won the Dutch Youth Regatta ahead Henri Demesmaeker & Frederique van Eupen (N15 WChamps, and plenty else titles for Henri alone)

Third place overall for Armanaud Grange & Marie van der Klink.
5th place for the other Arg crew, Massimo Contessi & Agustina Castro Fau. They started the event with 4 consecutive bullets, then some high scores relegated them a bit, but they close the regatta with another win. Making for a solid Argentinean Team towards coming Buenos Aires Youth Olympics 2018.

I remember telling Contessi’s father, to put the kid on an F18 and race the 2016 Worlds, imagine what those additional hours could have done for them. Both Arg Nacra 15 teams have lots of hours racing dinghies, but too few racing Nacra 15s or even cats for the matter.
Now of course they are catching up… pretty fast I must say!
