F18 NED: Veenman-de Waard win at Catpoint 2013

Jorden Veenman & Frank de Waard are putting themselves as the top Boskalis team for this next F18 Worlds, and with Mitch Booth also racing for Nacra , plus de Koning-Visser and Larsen the team will try to recover the last title held by the Infusion in 2009, Besson & Lagarrigue will be also racing one.

The Infusion was launched in 2006, it has obtained two consecutive World titles with de Koning in 08/09 and it is one of the most versatile and consistent design in the fleet in any condition, an ‘all terrain’ F18. 

As remarked many times Nacra will not need to upgrade this design for a while, las update was the MKII with longer boards and a solid platform, although I would change the tiller system a la Wildcat.
In fact latest designs will remain competive for longtime, latest launch was this weekend with Luca Filippi’s boat, more info on that later, and I think the next design might be the Open Project, more on that later too.
