F18 Argentina: BA Week 2012, Day 3

Third day of racing still two more next week. Buenos Aires Week is the biggest sailing event in Central/South America, organized by the YCA (Yatch Club Argentino) with more than 500 boats registered on these classes: 420 (28), 470 (4), 29er (39), 49er (6), Cadet (18), F-18 (18), Grumete (10), J/24 (16), Laser 4.7 (30), Laser Radial (60), Laser Standard (42), Match 30 (11), OD 27 (11), Optimist (155), Optimist Principiantes (176), S33 (5), Snipe (4) y Soling (13).

The local class is aiming to organize an F18 Worlds in Argentina, the YCA and Club Nautico San Isidro (Hosted 2006 Tornado among others Worlds) have lots of experience on major events (J24, 29er, 420 Worlds only on past months) as they have a quite professional management.
For ie the F18 class has zero task to program or manage each time we race with them, and they will be essential part of our bid to host the first F18 Worlds in South America.

On the F18 Esteban Blando/Nico Aragones continue dominating the fleet with two more bullets on their Wildcat. Christopher Schewe from Uruguay in 2nd place also with Wildcat and third Smith-Heuser with MKII.
