F18 Argentina: 4th Nats starts Today

I’ve been told that the local F18 has the fatest class growth ever in Argentina. We are all cerntainly proud of it, we are enjoying big time racing cats and more monohulls guys are joining us.
Current J24 World Champion will be racing with us next season. Alejo Rigoni won the J Worlds a week ago here in Buenos Aires, in the crew and owner of the boat was also Sergio Armesto that has a Cap and a C2.

Yesterday night we had Gunnar Larsen giving some clinics as he did last year. But this time he should focus on the water too as he will racing with Sam Franck.
Spoke with him and he told me about the F16 demand, we’ll have an interview later.
Needless to say all the pressure is with them, I’m confident they will manage the fleet and maybe give some bullets but they should win. They’ll have an almost new 2010 Infusion with longboards and the Boskalis Team sails they brought. Along with LeClainche/Joubert (2x Youth World Champs and 7th at Balaton) and Stunzi (2011 NAs Champ) we will have a good benchmark of our local level.

Calm winds expected today, but we had excellent conditions for two weeks now, Hunter, Pierre and Antoine had some good traning, and the frenchs also travel to see one of the new 7th Nature wonders, our “Cataratas” or Iguazú Falls
I Will try to update these three days of racing at night as I will be racing too on a brand MKII, we are in the ‘Master’ category…  with the owner Esteban Daneri and now crewing, 54 and I 39, although there is a 100 years combined  crew I think , Memo Castro and Bobby Collazo another experienced monohull background team now tasting what they´ve been missing all these years: Fast Multihull Racing.
