Really good coverage for the Worlds. Only thing ‘missing’ is Live video.

The tracking was excellent although some few leaders were missing.

Lots of photos by Kristoffer West (click pics for bigger images more here), live chat, twitter and more.

This is the way to promote a class World Championship. 2011ronstanacatworlds.sailing-aarhus.dk

The surprise for me was Mike Drummond, doing quite well and currently 9th on a dna.

The Oracle Racing Design director showing multihull racing skills in a super competitive fleet.

Mike is gathering field feedback for Oracle’s AC72, you can´t get better 1st hand info…

The other designer-racer, Fischer, had some moments at the front fleet on the 1st race (at least on the TracTrac), but ending finally 39 and 79 in the 2nd. I checked gps speed many times and it was quite good.

Lets see if they (along with Chris Cairns) can manage this new Exploder MayFly weapon at the end of the week.

Aussies leading the fleet, and the ‘yankee’ Ben Moon doing an excellent job too.
