Feedback from Artemis on the AC45
Fellow countryman, Santiago Lange phrasing the design of the AC45. Besides being one of the best Tornado Sailors on last decade along with Camau Espínola (World champs 2004, Vice WC 2006 and two consecutive Olympic bronce medals for both and two previous silver for Camau in windsurf)
Santi is a naval architect from Southampton, that worked at the famous (Argie) Frers design studio, and now has joined forces with VolvoO winning designer Juan K (Argie too) for Artemis, although Juan cannot at this time grab that tiller of the 45 besides his Star experience…
Having a guy that can understand design aspects and also sail cats like the best for sure is a major plus for the Swede team.
The 45 has a smooth ride, a well balanced platform designed by the Oracle Racing in house team lead by Mike Drummond
