The SL 16 Open World Championship ended today at the Carnac YC. The regatta, which started on Tuesday, took place under good auspices thanks to a more than favourable weather. The wind and the sun were here all week long and thus the race committee has been able to launch fourteen races, making the 25 teams happy.

This last day has been decisive and regularity has been the centerpiece to win this Championship. That’s how Simon Michaelsen and Vincent Guého win the title of 2010 World Champions. It’s also the case for Romain Bellet and Manon Audinet who stand on the second place of the podium. They out do Vincent Domand and Titouan Fafournoux (FRA 956), outstripping them for one point thanks to the race they won today. The first Carnac team is still Loïs Berrehar and Emmanuel de Colombel who end at the 15th place of this Championship.”
