F18 Worlds 2010: Day 4, Backes-Jarlegan on top

Photo: Alex Udin
Great Championship for Olivier Backes and Arnaud Jarlegan, they were having a good roll on the previous regattas and with hard training, that included feedback from Wildcat designer, Martin Fischer, the SailInnovation team is leading the Worlds again, Alex Udin must be flying right now, but it’s not over yet…
Today thanks to Simon Northtrop we informed that Hugh could might have some redress, and if he performed accordingly he could be fighting the title again, so he is 2nd right now with provisional results. Styles and Van West honored those RDG with a 2nd a 1st! So nobody can even start thinking to protest them, well done-
Bundy only 5 points behind, tight lead between these 3 crews, and tomorrow we’ll have a new World Champ for sure.
Still missing one discard on the finals, but the situation Should not change for Backes and Jarlegan with 34, Styles should stay 2.6 points behind with 36.6 and Bundock Howden with 39
No pics available yet, but today I may have some extra stuff…
