With current results is a close fight between Bundock-Howden and Backes-Jarlegan, only 4 points apart , their nearest competitor 25 points behind.
But if tomorrow they manage to race one more regatta, then another discard will be available, only for Final scores- So if you have two ocs in the 1st six and all good scores on the finals, you can only discard one ocs of the six qualifying ones.
That said there´s a great chance for Booth and Mischa to come back, as they scored 1 ocs each today. So its still somehow open .

Consistence is paying off, and that´s why Bundy and Backes are up there.
One thing to remark is the performance of Bontemps and Savatier riding a Cirrus, a non wavepiercing design, old school, but these guys are not aware it seems of ultimate fashion, they just have a good set of sails (SailInnovation) and they are sailing like the best.
So we have 5 different designs in the top ten: C2, Wildcat, Shockwave,Cirrus and Infusion.

Ashby and Spithill had an impressive come back today with a 1 ,2 and a 30th, for a 6th overall, although I think they wont reach top 1… never say never…
Also toughest of days for A-Class top 2&3 at Cesenatico Worlds, Steve Brewin and Jack Benson, after winning their last two yesterday they had a BFD, DNF, DNF!! So I lost one of my bets…
Hugh Styles and Fer van West were serious contenders until today, two DNF!
Yet Another top crew and Vice World Champs, Wilson&Lynch with 38,43,DNF!
These two crews were in excellent position after 6 races.

Reigning champs, Coen de Koning and Thjs Visser had a bad day with two BFD, lets see if that changes after jury review, if not, is time for a new World Champ, just like the Football World Cup where Holland will meet Spain in the Final, two countries that never win a World Cup, although is the 3rd final for the Dutchs and 1st for Spain-
Lots of dutch good friends made with the blog and Nr 1 one women fan in Ned is Maxima, the Argentine Princess.. so I’m with them.
Regarding Germany I thought they were in the Final, but Spain play like a champ… I’m sorry Roland and Felix! And for Bild.de: “HehehE!!!”

Big thanks for Alex Udin for the onsite report/photos and Eric Bellande for the special pics, check them below.
