All images Laurens Morel / saltycolours.com – Full gallery at Nacra 17 Class fb – The gap Besson & Riou establish in each Worlds always make the rest of the fleet to fight only for second place. No mercy by the Nr 1 Olympic crew and they keep momentum going for the 4th consecutive Worlds.

Top 3 look like a possible podium for Rio with Waterhouse & Darmanin in second place and Bissaro & Sicouri in 3rd.

In the US qulay Easton is 10 places ahead of Gulari-Chafee, so the Moth master is leading the overall selection. The difference between them after Miami was 16pts.

Te spanish team selection is having their first event, but Iker Martinez was hit in his knee by another boat’s bowsprit and he has abandoned the event. Echavarri-Pacheco are currently in 10th place overall. Bad luck for Iker as their were performing in Miami and in this Worlds too. Following events for the spanish teams qualy are Palma and Hyeres.
