F18 Australian Nats 2026 Day 2

Only one race was completed today due to a blown-out 30knots in the second race upwind leg.

Brin & Jake Liddel took the bullet followed by Burvill-Puttman and Bundy-Ashby .
Cruz & Dekker were leading but finished 4th in de the end, good sign the same for this just gathered team. Next week with more hours together will result in better handling. ,Stephan seems ok after the harsh capsize from yesterday that sent them to shore.

Brewin-Beattie maintained second overall and Colby-Colman in third after 4 races.

Worlds are going to be extremely competitive, Bundock & Ashby are the clear favorites, although many fast teams will challenge those two ‘rookies’.

High winds expected for the Worlds, your typical Aussie Regatta.
