European Formula 16 2026 Act 1: French F16 National, Sevrier Annecy lake, 23 boats

23 may , day 1

With more 30°C in air , the morning is slowly spending to prepare details on boats with control measurements.
Endly the Apercu flag is down about 13h and the fleet can be launched on lake to the RC boat located on east north side . The gate is far from the d-start line and the line is great with 290m lenght
Race 1 With just 5 knt wind from north west . The fleet start in port side. Quickly the schedule is clear with the 2 boats which know very well hot conditions from the South Bormes and the excellent Swedish on 2
Race 2 : The course is saved, with a little more wind about 6 knts . After good start the ranking is changing with FRA1 in head with Dagoury crew and Swedisch again
Races 3 and 4 : The wind is more regular to 9knts to delivery a real pleasure to sail, the ranking is hold by FRA 1 with the youlth FRA2985 knife in the teeth, and the fantastic Swedish
The evening was with uncredible music orchestra !!

24 may, day 2

The wind is waiting with again Aperçu with hot air under pure blue sky.
The course is similar yesterday but wind is not really installed and not regular.
Race 5 : Quickly FRA 1 start fast on and enjoys with the small wind . The lenght of the fleet becomes more and more large and the RC do a shorted arrival. . After a last effort to avoid the arrival closing SUI 51 finished, but 11 boats were out of time. The Swedish has dammage on finger but they continue with smile
Race 6 : The conditions seem more pleasant, but not regular ; With this play, FRA1 hold head again with Bel80 from Bormes and incredible single FRA89
Race 7 : The fleet seems installed in un regular conditions. Bel94 wins with FRA1 after a spectacular tactic to overtake and NED 2025 which improves race after race!
Races 8 & 9 : The wind is less difficult to finish the day, FRA1 consolided his head, and NED2025 is more and more efficient with Bel94. A beautiful 3 by Swedish even with dammage on hand. RC shorted the last lap to make easier the back to club with lower wind.

Evening with competitors dinner, with exceptional typical Savoie dinner

25 may, day 3

The morning is yet very hot with more 30°C, Aperçu flag is quickly on. RC is optimist and the fleet is going on water about 13h.
Race 10. The course is different but the buoys on wind are very very -difficult to reach. The wind is unstable but Bel80 wins, followed by FRA1, Bel94 and regular NED2025
Race 11 : The course is the same to save time, Bel 94 wins followed by FRA1, and incredible FRA5602 with violin spi.

A fantastic reception organized by club ended the edition !
