F18 Argentine Nats 2011 Day 2: More perfect conditions. Faustín-Smith lead

Another perfect day of racing for the 4th Arg Nationals. Juan Faustín and Lucas Gonzalez Smith are leading and tied with Larsen-Franck. Esteban Blando and Nico Aragonés only one point behind! So we are having a tough super competitive event. Nothing defined yet, 4 races today and we expect at least 3 more tomorrow.
Today 10-12knot South-East almost no chop, just double trapeze conditions.

My crew and owner of the MKII, Esteban Daneri is showing that you can have 54 and be competitive even crewing! Hat off to him, he ended without forces after 4 races and maybe tomorrow he will pass but we have some excellent moments, like starting one on one with Gunnar and maintaining speed and angle after two laps, then when we were comfortably third the rc put a third one (first two races with two laps only) and Esteban Blando caught us at the final leg, we ended 4th again (ocs was 4th) racing at top level.

Then with more wind our chances diminished due to extra power handling needed for the crews, nevertheless we managed to end always on the top ten or just about.

Juan-Lucas and Esteban-Nico are making an incredible job putting high pressure over Gunnar and Sam, literally giving them a run for their money.

We have a small but powered up fleet, watch out with any Argie racing abroad, we are some serious fanatics.

Final day tomorrow, Cruz and Mariano or Mehl-Stunzi may score 3 bullets on higher winds too so anything can happen.

This is F18 racing.
