Dart 18 World Championships 2025

From July 19–25, 2025, the Dart 18 World Championship lands on the beach of Zandvoort — turning one of the Netherlands’ most iconic seaside towns into the global stage for beach cat sailing.

With over 70 teams expected and racing just metres from the shore, the event combines high-level competition with dramatic surf conditions and a lively beach club atmosphere. Daily music, food, and parties will bring the sailing community and summer beach crowd together like never before.

This year, the Dutch coast is going big, with the F18 Worlds happening just 15 km south in Noordwijk a few weeks earlier. Two world championships, one coastline, and a full-on celebration of multihull sailing.

Zandvoort’s proximity to Amsterdam (25 minutes) makes it ideal for sailors, spectators, and media.

2025 Season it’s shaping up to be the biggest cat sailing summer the Dutch coast has ever seen.
