F18 Worlds 2026 Day 4 Results

Pressure started building today at Jervoise Bay, located near Perth in Western Australia.

Although Brett Burvill & Max Puttman continued with their bullet collections, a 23rd in race #10 where they got caught to the left side of the course along Homan-Bilston left both team without chances to maintain overall lead. Bundock & Ashby were safe to the favored side in that race.

The legends did not make any big mistake today, on the contrary a super solid 2,2,4 score placed them at the top after eleven races. This type of top notch Olympic & Americas Cup level sailor have that additional intangible talent to excel under the defining moments.

We’ve seen this situations many times, specially in Tennis where guys like Federer might be overplayed by his opponent but Roger will prevail when it mattered most.

In sailing regattas is the same, you can put all the bullets you want, but better cope those with consistency.

Still much at play and a second discard will enter tomorrow with race #12 , giving a chance to former first & second leaders to recover some pts to aim for the Title. At least 2-3 more races pending.

Bundock & Ashby will be able to discard any coming bad result. Brett & Max will discard a 22nd.
