Excellent breeze at Mar del Plata last weekend for the Formula 18s and other classes racing in our top notch ocean regatta venue.

Agustin Krevisky & Juan Martín Benitez dominated with 9 bullets out of 12 races, second place for Gonzalez-Smith & Heuser. Current World Champs Volker-Polimeni couldn’t attend on Pablo’s commitment with his Patagonia Wingfoil trip project.

The local made Scorpion (last pic above) continues its tests, and has done pretty well in harsh conditions. Hernán & Luca Salerno finished third sailing the hulls Hernán laminated himself at a Mar del Plata yard that is building them for us. Next set should be my own hulls, hopefully in a few months.

We are managing the Scorpion Arg build project with Hernan who is a Naval Architect too, and his ‘Raptor’ design, a fast dinghy which is gathering some fleet numbers also participated. See pics above.
