Nacra 17 Europeans 2023, Day 5
Vilamoura, Portugal. Plenty of action finally with four races held today. British John Gimson & Anna Burnet dominated the day scoring 1,2,1 & 1 to grab overall lead over Tita & Banti and former leaders Ugolini & Giubilei.
Another spicy matchup being taken place within the French squad, Tim Mourniac & Aloise Retornaz being 8th overall and fellow Billy Besson & Noa Ancian in 9th. Still a good gap for the young Mourniac.
Good to see Billy getting the pace, although he needs for consistency. French spot for Paris is secured on being locals but we don’t yet the selection format to represent France in 2024 games.
Another top French helm left the Nacra 17 for Sail GP, Quentin Delapierre.
