F18 Australia Nov 1-2 Regattas

The F18 Australian sailors had two regattas this weekend. One at Lake Cootharaba and the other at Lake Kurnell Cat Club. ‘Cat Challenge’ and ‘Top Gun’ regatta respectively.
Both Multiclasses Cats gatherings.

Some Top local F18 riders in each location: at Kurnell Brin Liddell & Amy Girl Brewin, along Archie Gargett & Beau White. Cootharaba: van Kerckhof, Fawcet, Pellew & Homan.

Stevie Brewin sailed his A-Cat at Kurnell while his daughter raced with new Nacra 17 & F18 ace Brin Liddell. Stevie reported 8-12 knots for the first race with light winds for the rest of the event.

F18 Worlds 2026 Perth

The 2026 F18 Worlds in Perth are coming soon and many fast locals that do not travel abroad will be challenging Colby-Colman & Burvill-Puttman for the title. We don’t know yet if current World Champ Darren Bundock will defend the 2025 crown.

– Worlds: 27^th January 2026 to 3^rd February 2026
– Australian National Championship:  24^th January 2026 to 26^th January 2026
