A-Cat GER & NED Open Nats 2025

Three more races for the foiling and Classics fleets were held yesterday at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, Garda. Polish riders took both crowns with Kuba Surowiec (D3/Bryt) winning Foilers and Jacek Noetzel (D3 Classic/Bryt) the floating mode first place.

Jacek left two Classics World Champs behind, Gustavo Doreste & Scott Anderson finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In the Foilers, the star was Lamberto Cesari (D3 / Brewin), second overall behind current WChamp, but ahead of legend Mischa Heemskerk (DNA / Mischa Sails). Lambi closed the regatta with flare scoring the final bullet. Another Italian sailor, Marco Anessi had a good regatta for 4th overall.
The local Italian A-Cat scene is experiencing a renewed drive with younger sailors racing at top level. Expect more from the in coming Worlds events.
