F18 Argentina. Mar del Plata Sailing Week 2024, Day 2

Second day of racing at Mar del Plta for part of the Argentinean fleet. The annual Sailing Week each summer in our sea coast waters, always providing excellent conditions.

Agustin Krevisky-Juan Martín Benitez lead but tied in points vs Cruz Gonzalez Smith- Mariano Heuser. Third overall Fran Venetucci & Nico Quagliotti. All top three with Scorpion / 1D.

4th overall for Pablo Volker & Fede Polimeni (Scorpion / Landenberger DS) , who under the spanish flag had a chance at Travemudne Worlds 2023 for the title sailing an Akurra.
Fede came from Spain to train at chalenging Mar del Plata waters along Pablo, as both are looking forward for the 2024 European season and Costa Brava Worlds.

Precisely at Mar del Plata is where I have the new local F18 Arg project being built along Naval Architect Hernán Salerno. First hulls about to be finished. More info coming weeks hopefully.
