New 53′ Cruiser Cat by Minuet-Calabrese / Sistemas Marinos

This is the 53’Cruiser I mentioned within the new Catamaran projects being designed or built in Argentina. This one designed by Minuet-Calabrese and built by Sistemas Marinos SRL , located in Paraná, Ente Rios.Arg.

Two versions are being built. Sailing one its a 53′ Cruiser Cat,  and the second being  power cat at 52′.

The yard is working with  Horacio Chakass  (Naval Engineer) on mechanics framework, Enrique Mich (Naval Arch) for finite element method structural calcs and Alfredo Corvalan assisting on Infusion & laminates process.
The entire process is targeted to achieve optimal weights, the goal for the powered version is to achieve 18knots cruising speed at 14lts/hr.

First launch is scheduled for August 2018.
