F18 & Multiclass event @Muiderzand April 2016: Images by van Staveren

Report & images sent by Jasper van Staveren / jaspervanstaveren.com  —  ‘Hi Martin, again a bizarre day in the Netherlands @ Muiderzand. Sailors arrived (F18, Hobie 16 and Dart 18) at the Marina with a steady 8-10 knots… race started and was finished after two rounds due to some big thunderclouds were coming in (with hail stones) so the RC decided wisely to go ashore to stay warm till the storm was over.

With the storm gone, we had no wind left at all so after 1,5 hours postponement they decided to cancel any further races. But…before that some spectacular cloudy backgrounds of sailing cats in the sun :-)’  — //
