Team New Zealand: Moth training

Ashby, Tuke, Burling have already raced the foiling As at Takapuna Worlds & Bordeaux Europeans for Barker/Ashby. Now TNZ sailors are launching this new AC35 challenge sailing Moths.

The Moths have perfected flight based on foil mechanical control development, they are by definition the current racing foiling boats. Right now flying a Moth is  ‘easy’ compared to learning the new techniques and skills for flying the racing legal As.

And I think As must remain controlled by sailors skill and ‘static’ foil design devel & optimization.
