Hydroptere: 54knots Tops, 50knots average over 500mts

With a top speed of 54knots, L-Hydroptere crossed the 50.3knts barrier on 500mts on the first day of training. The Kite record is closer now. Quite a run for them.
Although a Windsurfer or a Kiter can do the same with much less investment or equipment, we are talking here about a “complete” boat with a complete crew, so is quite a feat for this huge project to achieved their goal, being the fastest sailboat on earth, they are too close now…
