A-Cat Europeans 2026: Day 1 Results

Quick update with today’s results.

In the Classics they sailed 3 races with 10-12knots. Two World Champs battling for the lead, Jacek Noetzel & Gustavo Doreste facing each other after Noetzel’s Title in NZ where Gustavo did not attended.

Two bullets for the Polish rider and one for the local. Third overall for Italian F18/A-Cat sailor Marco Radman.
Another former World Champ is racing at Mar Menor, Andrew Landenberger, Landy got 4,4 & 6 for the day, the Aussie sits 5th overall.

Foilers

Surowiec leads by two points over Lamberto Cesari. Thir for Manolo Calavia. Two other contenders like Marco Anesi (DNC, 1 & 2) and Nacra 17 & F18 World Champ Emil Jarudd (DNC, 29, 3) got top three results and will chase more chances to discard.

Mischa Heemskerk also a DNC but a 15th & 20th seem to have left him without the needed speed.
