Nacra 17s Kiel Week 2025 for Morniac & Retornaz

Tim Mourniac & Aloise Retornaz won the 2025 Kiel Week regatta this weekend. High breeze second half of the week (Arg girl raced IQ Foil raced in 30knots for instance). The talented French helm showed his expertise in tough conditions, as shown sailing F18 at St Barth. Along Retornaz they scored four bullets in the last 5 races, with a second on the Medal.

Winning in these conditions over Olympic medalists Gimson & Burnett it’s remarkable feat aside not many teams were present at Kiel.

Third place overall went to Aussies Brin Liddel & Rhiannan Brown, who finished ahead Ruben & Rita Booth, who continue to raise their level, targeting to represent Australia in next Olympics, following the steps of Legend Dad, Mitch Booth.
