F18 French Nats 2025

Six races held till now for the 2025 Formula 18 Nats, organized by the Société Nautique de Locmariaquer, located at the awesome Gulf of Morbihan near Carnac where the Eurocat took place last week.

The Nacra Teams continue their pre Worlds campaign in France, Colby-Kolman and Parent-Lena currently top two, with locals Erussard-Moreau (Akuurra) and & Jean Bolougne Manu (Cirrus R3/Air Sails) in 3rd & 4th respectively.

“Beautiful sailing here. At the entrance to the Golfe de Morbihan is the Société Nautique de Locmariaquer. Wonderful group of F18 sailors. With first class treatment for the visitors. Fresh local oysters were amazing ! So far shifty conditions have prevailed with the wind off the land. Today three long distance races in the Golfe! Not easy for us tourists, but we’ll do our best”

Update from today: “One race so far. Abandoned today. Light wind and crazy current! We did multiple pirouettes. Crazy snakes and ladders. Waiting on the beach now. Maybe. 2 short races. We wait.”
